NYE
2006 ON THE SAN FRANCISCO WATERFRONT! “String Cheese” has performed many times in San Francisco. They were here for multi-night New Year's Eves' shows at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in 2003 and 2004. They tour extensively and have a dedicated and respectful Bay Area fan base. The joining of String Cheese with ANON SALON, especially in as unique a venue as Pier 48, would surely create an unforgettable and high profile event, and lay the foundation for what could be a magical San Francisco tradition. This web page will provide background on ANON SALON: who they are, what they do and why they are the perfect fit to produce a gala New Year's Eve 2006 event on San Francisco's legendary waterfront! As to the specifics,
we are interested in Pier 48 and the "Strider"
facing the northern cityscape. We are also interested in the Annex
and Outside area for backstage area and staff parking. Both organizations have held successful large scale new year's events without incident over the last 5 years. Togther we would bring a hight level of exdperiecne and professionalism to the event. Our aim for an occupancy would be approximately 5000-6000 each night. In the past, ANON SALON NYE's event have generally had 2500-3000 participants, while String Chess events at the Bill grahm Civic Cener were even larger. As co-producers, ANON
SALON
would be happy to supply a comprehensive list of references upon request,
including the following from side: Thank you. For more information

HISTORY OF ANON SALON For nearly
twenty years, ANON SALON has helped shape
the course of West Coast entertainment history by producing literally
hundreds of of unique theme events; as well as theater festivals, gallery
shows, technology conferences and the annual Decompression street fairs
for Burning Man fans both in San Francisco and Los Angeles. In the
early 1990's, Joegh and Marcia merged with
Petrakis' production group, pARTy/SCIENCE
for the purpose of uniting the Bay Area art and technology communities
in what proved to be immensely successful monthly gallery "party/event/
performances" known as ANON SALON. Throughout
this period, pARTy/SCIENCE also provided
story and live event and conference consultant services to a host of corporations
and research organizations. |
